Filipe is an Associate at Starz Real Estate, where he is involved in all aspects of loan origination, underwriting, and execution of real estate credit opportunities across Europe.
Prior to Starz, Filipe was an Associate at Bawag in the Real Estate Finance team where he focused on modelling, structuring, underwriting, and executing senior loans and loan-on-loan financings across western Europe and the US. Prior to Bawag, Filipe was an Investment Analyst at Welltower where he was responsible for analysing equity and debt investments in UK seniors housing. Fluent in Portuguese and English, Filipe holds a BSc in Economics from University of Porto.
