Qualitas is pleased to announce the completion of Silkwood by Silkari, a landmark development located in Pagewood, 11km from the Sydney CBD.
Qualitas partnered with the project's developer, Visionary, providing approx. $45 million funding for the project, which comprises 219 apartments and 37 townhouses. The residences feature premium interiors, surrounded by landscaped gardens and communal rooftops.
Mark Fischer, Managing Director, Principal Investments, said, "Silkwood is a great example of the type of projects that Qualitas seeks to fund. It's thoughtfully designed with the end-user in mind, in a sought-after location close to the city, schools and amenities. We worked with Visionary to provide a funding solution that met their needs and made sense for the project.
"Qualitas provided a senior debt loan initially to settle the acquisition of the site and then increased our investment, by way of preferred equity funding, to assist with the development of the project. It's a demonstration of our willingness to share risk when we have confidence in a project. We're pleased to see it successfully completed."
