Our Group Managing Director, Andrew Schwartz spoke with ausbiz following our full-year FY26 results briefing. Normalised net profit before tax rose 20% to $63 million and fee-earning funds under management reached $11.9 billion, up 36% - results that underpin FY27 guidance for normalised net profit of $74–80 million and a dividend of 11.25 cents per share.
On competitive positioning, Andrew pointed to Qualitas' funds carrying no leverage and minimal redemption rights exposure as a key advantage relative to global peers navigating liquidity pressures in private credit, alongside around $2.4 billion of "dry powder" ready to deploy. He also described the firm's European expansion through the Starz Real Estate (Starz) platform as a major step in revenue diversification, with the potential to increase Qualitas' addressable market fivefold over the medium term.
